	answer text	<p>If successful, the proposed Rawabi city would be an important contributor to economic development in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. We understand that the proposed west bank city of Rawabi is planned to ultimately serve a population of 40,000. The total cost of the development is estimated at over US$850 million. It is expected to generate between 8,000 and 10,000 new construction sector jobs and an additional 3,000 to 5,000 jobs in banking, communications and information technology.</p>
