<p>[holding answer 31 October 2013]: EADS consists of a number of subsidiaries, including Airbus. I refer my hon. Friend to the answer I provided to him on 31 October 2013, Official Report, column 579W.</p><p>The Government has a range of contractual and funding arrangements with EADS and its subsidiary companies, many of them commercially sensitive.</p><p>In the financial year 2012-13, EADS received payments on MOD contracts for just over £812 million. In addition, it received around £55 million in repayable interest-bearing loans and also grants for R&D and skills-related activities. Over the same period, EADS made repayments of existing loans to the UK Government of just over £160 million.</p><p>These figures do not include any arrangements that may have been made directly with the devolved Administrations or local authorities.</p> |
