	answer text	<p>At the request of the Prime Minister, the then Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, led a review into COVID-status certification, which concluded in July.</p><p>As published in the <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-response-autumn-and-winter-plan-2021" target="_blank">COVID-19 Response: Autumn and Winter Plan</a> on 14 September, in order to help businesses prepare their own contingency plans, the Government will shortly publish more detail about the proposed certification regime that would be introduced as part of Plan B.</p><p> </p>
