	answer text	The Department, with the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), has considered the opportunities available to share information to enable targeting of the Green Deal. From April, DCLG expects to make energy efficiency information publicly available from the Register of Energy Performance Certificates in England and Wales. The information will also be available in bulk to certain authorised users, such as those certified under the Green Deal framework.DCLG have published a Privacy Impact Assessment which sets out the safeguards that will be put in place to protect the privacy of individuals and ensure they can opt out of having their data made available in this way.
