	answer text	<p>Transport for the North (TfN) was formed out of the One North initiative.　TfN was established by the cities in the north for the people of the north to work in partnership with Government. Ministers and Officials have held discussions with a wide range of stakeholders, including those from outside of the UK, on the role of TfN.　However, it is not for Government to impose its will on the region, but to work with the region to drive economic growth.</p><p> </p>
