<p>Data on the number of women affected by heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB) in England is not held centrally.</p><p> </p><p>HMB can have a major impact on a woman’s quality of life. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) published guidelines on HMB in March 2018, which aim to improve the care surrounding HMB.
