<p>The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) does not own any property but rents space in three buildings in London. The value of these buildings is not known to the Department but the rental cost has been included below for information.</p><p>3 Whitehall Place (whole building)—covers 8,768 square metres in total—Annual rental of approximately £4.3million</p><p>55 Whitehall (whole building)—covers 1,710 square metres in total—Annual peppercorn rental of £1 (building is owned by the Crown Estate)</p><p>1 Victoria Street (partial rental from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills—BIS)—part of one floor totalling 414 square metres—Annual rental of approx. £582,000 (which includes the DECC share of other building facilities such as Utilities etc.)</p>
