	answer text	The UK-US extradition treaty was one of the areas considered by the independent extradition review, which took the implications of many extradition cases into account in the course of their deliberations. The Secretary of State for the Home Department, my right hon. Friend the Member for Maidenhead (Mrs May), is currently giving the review panel's recommendations careful consideration and the Government will announce what action they will take in due course.
