	answer text	<p>The Department meets with the big six energy companies, smaller energy suppliers and Ofgem regularly to discuss a range of issues.</p><p>We are considering carefully the recommendations made in the Fifth Report of this Session from the Energy and Climate Change select committee on Energy Prices, Profits and Poverty and will be responding in full by the end of September.</p>
