<p>No. Animal rescue centres are not required to kill healthy animals. Healthy animals taken from the wild may be kept until the end of their natural lives, under licence, provided that they are prevented from breeding or escape. Centres may not, however, re-release those animals; this is to prevent them from further adding to the wild population.</p><p> </p>
