	answer text	DWP entered the pay freeze in 2010 and will exit it this year. We are actively engaged with Cabinet Office and other Government Departments regarding principles for reform and an agreed view of the market rates and metrics for different roles in different locations. We will then develop our strategy for local market facing pay, as set out in the pay guidance issued by the Treasury.
