<p>The Government has asked National Health Service leaders to produce a new ten-year plan for the NHS, underpinned by a five-year funding settlement which will see the NHS budget grow by over £20.5 billion a year in real terms by 2023-24. As it develops the long-term plan, the NHS has been engaging with system leaders, patients and the public for their views including through a consultation which closed 30 September.</p><p> </p><p>NHS Property Services has not made a formal submission but instead works closely with its NHS partners to ensure the funding, design and utilisation of its healthcare facilities features appropriately in all future development plans.</p>
