<p>In developing the National Genomic Healthcare Strategy, the Government will undertake wide ranging and comprehensive engagement, involving detailed discussions with patient and public groups, researchers, charities and industry. This will be guided by the National Genomics Board, which oversees the Government’s work to maintain the United Kingdom’s position as the world’s leading centre for genomic medicine and research.</p><p>Although this does not involve a formal public consultation document, patients and the public will be key to developing the strategy, and we will utilise a wide range of existing public and patient engagement groups to do so.</p> |
