	answer text	<p>The Home Office does not hold this information centrally but on 12 February the Secretary of State for the Home Department, my right hon. Friend the Member for Maidenhead (Mrs May), announced a package of measures to improve police integrity. This included a stronger and more consistent system of vetting for police officers and a national register of officers struck off from the police to prevent officers who lose their jobs as a result of misconduct being recruited by other forces.</p>
