<p>Fire and rescue services have the resources they need to do their important work. Overall fire and rescue authorities in England will receive around £2.5 billion in 2022/23. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Authority has a core spending power of £80.9m, an increase of £6.2m (8.3%) compared to 2021/22.</p><p>Over the past 10 years (year ending December 2011– year ending December 2021) the total number of all incidents in England attended by fire and rescue services has fallen by 8% and the total number of fire incidents in England has fallen by 34%.</p>
