	answer text	<p>The programme (January 2007-December 2012) supports the provision of improved access to water and sanitation and better hygiene practices in rural and urban areas. The programme has already provided 1.4 million poor with safe drinking water and 5.8 million with improved sanitation facilities. By December 2012 an additional 0.7 million people will secure access to safe drinking water, and 1.12 million will have improved sanitation facilities.</p><p>The programme is implemented by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in partnership with the Government of Bangladesh.</p>
