<p>Electricity bills increased by 8.8% a year on average between 2005 and 2010.</p><p>Average bill changes are calculated as the compound growth over period quoted and take customers paying by standard credit as the typical consumer. Increases are calculated in cash terms.</p><p>Electricity bill estimates are available in DECC's statistical publication, Quarterly Energy Prices.
