<p>The Department has received representations from consumer group representatives, regulators, industry and interested Members of Parliament, requesting for action to be taken to deal with nuisance telephone calls. In response, I have been working closely with them to find effective solutions and the Department's further thinking will be set out in our action plan that will be published shortly.</p>
