<p>We repeatedly assess the adequacy of support and compare internationally.</p><p>We will be publishing a Small Business Strategy, setting out how the Government will make it easier for micro and small businesses to grow. To develop the strategy, we have consulted with entrepreneurs, small and micro business owners, and reviewed the support provided by BIS, its partner organisations, and the rest of Government. We have invited them to tell us what Government should do more of, less of, and differently. Alongside this, we have reviewed the way that business support is provided in a number of other industrialised countries.</p><p>One of the issues raised by businesses is that Government support needs to be more visible, so in early November we will launch a campaign to inspire small and micro businesses to grow, and to raise awareness of the support available.</p> |
