Horse Riders Rights Demand Equal Rights
background
Horse Riders have been deliberately overlooked by the UK government while all other vulnerable road users are being recognised... Why? Most motorists have no idea how to act around horses. They require educating to understand safety around horses.
additional details
Please include the safe passing speed...15mph, passing distance 2 metres. Please take notice of any hand signals the rider may be showing you. Never brake at last moment or rev engines loudly. Be aware you might need to stop. It should only be for a few seconds and could save the drivers life as well as the rider's. Riders often have to nod their thanks rather than let go of their reins. If two horses are being ridden side by side it should be to protect a younger or more spooky horse and you.
