§ Lord TriesmanSpeaking in the House during the Second Reading debate of the Renewable Energy Bill on Friday 14 January 2005, I mistakenly said (Official Report, col. 488) that there had been an improvement of 80 per cent in the economic efficiency of wind energy generation "in the past two years".
The economic efficiency gain was achieved in fact over 20 years. I apologise for this mistake and have taken the earliest opportunity to correct it.
