§ Mr. Mike O'BrienThe EU emissions trading scheme is a cost effective and market friendly way of reducing CO2 emissions. Industry's views have been taken at 1718WS every stage of the process; there have been five consultations so far. The plans for implementation are well developed and will be finalised shortly.
