§ The Lord President of the Council (Baroness Amos)My right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland has made the following Ministerial Statement.
Under Section 73(2) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998, I have appointed four new commissioners to the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland. They are: Anthony Carlin, Una Gillespie, Thomas McGrath and Paul Yam.
The appointments take effect from 1 August 2004 and last for three years.
