To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will publish the names of those people who were considered for the post of Chairman of the Essex Ambulance Service NHS Trust. [132820]

§ Ms Rosie Winterton
The National Health Service Appointments Commission now has responsibility for all chair and non-executive appointments to NHS boards. The Commission owes a duty of confidentiality to all candidates for appointments. Only the names of successful candidates are published.
