§ Lord FilkinOne sports college (Compton High School & Sports College) has been de-designated in the past three years—because the school closed in 2003 and West London Academy, Ealing opened in its place. Academies are not eligible for specialist school status as such but do have specialisms—in this case, enterprise & sports.
