What representations they have made or intend to make to the Eire Government concerning the description by the President of Eire, Mary McAleese, of approximately 1 million United Kingdom citizens as Nazis. [HL1087]

The President of Ireland has apologised for any offence her remarks about the Holocaust on 27 January may have caused. The Government have therefore made no representations to the Irish Government.
