§ Caroline FlintSuch changes as were necessary to meet the requirements of Council Directive No. 91/477/EEC on the control of the acquisition and possession of weapons were incorporated into domestic legislation by means of the Firearms Acts (Amendment) Regulations 1992. There are no outstanding recommendations for action although the Commission is currently reviewing the operation of the directive.
