§ Mr. MorleyEstimates for numbers of abandoned vehicles removed and destroyed are compiled from the Defra Municipal Waste Management Survey for 2000–01, 2001–02 and 2002–03 and the Defra Abandoned Vehicle Survey for 2002–03. Estimates for vehicles removed by the police are not available. It is not practicable to sort the estimates due to the non-responses in certain years.
