§ Lord WarnerThe Health Protection Agency has convened a panel of experts to assess new procedures and products making claims about their ability to prevent or control healthcare associated infections. It is expected that the first batch of products will have been assessed by the autumn. It is anticipated that the panel's assessments will be published on a regular basis and no date has been set for completion of its work.
