§ Margaret HodgeThe London borough of Enfield has one Sure Start local programme, five neighbourhood nursery projects, and no Early Excellence Centres. In addition grant was paid for a range of early year's initiatives within the Childcare Grant until 2003, and under the Sure Start General Grant between 2004–06. The funding for each initiative since its inception is as follows:
