§ The Lord President of the Council (Baroness Amos)There are excellent levels of co-operation between the Police Service of Northern Ireland and An Garda Siochana to tackle organised criminals who seek to operate in both jurisdictions. Formal mechanisms are in place for liaison between PSNI and agencies in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland with regulatory responsibility for combating illegal dumping.
