Whether they will investigate if the composition of the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland's staff is in accordance with Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998. [HL4742]
§ Baroness AmosSection 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 imposed a statutory duty on public authorities to have due regard to the need to promote equality of opportunity in carrying out their functions relating to Northern Ireland.
As the composition of the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland's workforce is included in each of its published annual reports there is no need for government to investigate further.
