Whether they will ask the British Embassy in Manama, Bahrain, to monitor the trial of the human rights activist Abdul-Hadi Al-Khawaja, provisionally scheduled for 16 October. [HL4488]

Our Embassy in Bahrain is monitoring the Al-Khawaja case. It will continue to do so when the case comes to trial.
