HL Deb 02 November 2004 vol 666 c27WA
Lord Moynihan

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What is the forecast income of the hypothecated Olympic Lottery Game for the years 2005 to 2012 on present projections; and whether this figure takes account of the liberalisation of the gambling laws proposed in the Gambling Bill. [HL4555]

Lord McIntosh of Haringey

Camelot's latest estimates of total income from hypothecated Olympic Lottery Games in the years 2005–12, as reviewed by the National Lottery Commission, is £779 million. This figure was arrived at with knowledge of the proposals in the Gambling Bill.
