§ Lord FilkinThe Government have made no estimate of the number of marriages that may result from the cohabitation awareness campaign. The campaign aims to increase awareness of the different legal rights and responsibilities that apply to cohabiting and married couples. The purpose of the campaign is to make accurate and accessible information available to the public, through both web-based and printed materials, that will help couples to make informed decisions.
