§ Mr. MorleyThe Secretary of State last met a representative of Scottish Power plc on Thursday 13 May 2004 at a meeting of the Sustainable Development Task Force, of which Scottish Power is a member.
Scottish Power's representative at this meeting was Fred Dinning, who was attending in the place of Ian Russell, the Chief Executive. Other Task Force members present were from a range of UK Government Departments, the devolved Administration, and external stakeholder bodies. The agenda for discussion included an update on the sustainable development strategy consultation; education for sustainable development; an update on the outcomes of the Twelfth Session of the UN Commission on Sustainable Development; and papers on breaking down the barriers for renewable energy.
