To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many NHS(a) doctors and (b) nurses there were in Heywood in each of the last seven years; and if he will make a statement. [168484]

The table shows the number of doctors and nurses within the Greater Manchester Strategic Health Authority area, the number of general medical practitioners and practice nurses in Heywood and Middleton and the number of doctors and nurses in the Pennine Acute Hospitals National Health Service Trust (including its predecessor organisations) each year since 1997.
