§ Phil HopeHaving received a valid petition, and before making an Older for the creation of a new parish, the Government first consult interested parties on a draft Order, after which the Order, which is not subject to parliamentary procedure, is made.
1499WFollowing consultation on a draft Order for the creation of the parish of St. Annes, we have decided to defer the making of the Order, to allow Fylde borough council to make the necessary electoral and warding arrangements.
The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister expects to make the Order later this year to come into effect on 1 April 2005.
