HL Deb 29 March 2004 vol 659 cc134-5WA
Lord Campbell-Savours

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What percentage of persons left modern apprenticeship programmes without completing their apprenticeship training in each of the past three years. [HL1809]

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department for Education and Skills (Baroness Ashton of Upholland)

The table shows the percentages completing their modern apprenticeship framework. Some learners gain an NVQ, but do not complete the rest of their framework—these are also shown separately in the table. Comparable figures for 2000–01 are not available due to changes in the way the data are collected.
