To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs whether ink cartridges will be included under the guidelines of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive; and if she will make a statement. [161783]

§ Mr. Morley
The controls of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive apply to whole electrical and electronic products, and not consumables such as inkjet printer cartridges.
