§ Mrs. McGuireThe Scotland Office spent £180,582 on communications for the period up to the end of February 2004. This expenditure is attributable to press office staff (who are also members the Government Information and Communications Service) and special advisers. Details of the costs of special advisers are given on an annual basis. Information for the financial year 2003–04 will be published in due course.
