§ Mr. McNultyNetwork Rail is working with Mersey Travel and Liverpool Vision on plans to develop the station. However, since it took over responsibility for the station on 16 November 2003, Network Rail has made several improvements already, and is looking to make a number of others: these include refurbishment of the toilet facilities, improved security, including plans for a new CCTV system, and improvements to passenger announcement equipment and signage.
