To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when his Department will publish guidelines on the treatment of prisoners with gender dysphoria. [159028]

The Prison Service expects to publish these guidelines once the Gender Recognition Bill has become law and it is in a position to include guidance on the implications of this legislation for its policies and practices.
