To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will make a statement on the Government's response to the recommendation in the Chief Medical Officers

NHS hospital and community health services: Qualified nursing, midwifery and health visiting staff including Practice Nurses employed by Unrestricted Principals and equivalents (UPEs)1in England, the London2 area and each specified Strategic Health Authority area per one thousand of the population as at 30 September3 each specified year.
