To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what criteria are applied in relation to access by children with special needs to after-school clubs in Northern Ireland. [156584]

It is a matter for schools to determine the range of activities to be offered, having regard to the needs and abilities of their pupils, and to decide whether individual pupils will take benefit from these activities.
