Further to the Written Answer by the Lord Bassam of Brighton on 5 May (WA 122), why they do not hold figures centrally for government expenditure on focus groups. [HL2963]

It is for departments to decide how much of their total administration budget it is appropriate to spend on focus groups. Consequently detailed data of each department's administration expenditure are not collected centrally.
