HL Deb 21 June 2004 vol 662 cc100-1WA
Lord Hylton

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What progress has been made in the cases of Fariboz Grasvindi, Mokhtar Haydari and Faroq Haydari, following their hunger strike and admission to hospital in the United Kingdom; and whether they will not be deported to Iran if to do so would endanger their lives. [HL2908]

Baroness Scotland of Asthal

This reflects the Home Office's legal obligations under common law, human rights and data protection legislation, and the treatment of private personal information under the Code of Practice on Access to Information. I regret, therefore, that I am unable to provide any information relating to the current immigration status of Fariboz Grasvindi, Mokhtar Haydari and Farooq Haydari.
