The Foreign and Commonwealth Office does not differentiate in its records between money spent by Ministers on air travel and money spent by officials accompanying Ministers. Nor do the records differentiate between travel to Northern Ireland and travel between other parts of the United Kingdom. In the Financial Year 2003–2004, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office spent £724,849 on domestic air travel for Ministers and officials.
