To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what the salary costs to the Department were for employees working in public relations and publicity in each year since 1997. [183849]

The Department for Work and Pensions was formed in June 2001 from the former Department of Social Security, parts of the former Department for Education and Employment and the Employment Service. The available information is in the table.
