To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs how many staff in her Department work in(a) the West Midlands and (b) North Staffordshire. [146908]

The information is as follows:

  1. Defra has 734 staff working in the West Midlands. A further 147 Defra Executive Agency staff work in this Region.
  2. Neither Defra nor any of its Agencies has offices in North Staffordshire.
